Questions and answers
Everything people ask us
Coming to eat or coming to cook, the answers are below. Still stuck? Email the market manager and you will hear back within a day or two.
For visitors
Is it really free?
Yes. No ticket, no cover. You only pay the trucks.
Do I need to bring a chair?
No, we set out tables and chairs. Bring your own if you prefer it.
Can I bring my dog?
Service animals and dogs are welcome, but we ask that dogs are kept away from the trucks preparing food.
What if it rains?
We run in light rain. If the forecast turns genuinely nasty we call it by the prior day. We post updates on our social media, so make sure you are following us.
Is there beer?
Beer and wine from the licensed garden on the south side, 21 and over with ID.
Card or cash?
Most trucks accepts both, but we reccomend double checking before ordering.
Where do I park?
The Third Street garage is only a few hundred feet away, and street meters around the square are free after 6 PM.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The square is flat and paved, with curb cuts on all four corners and accessible restrooms on the north side.
Are there vegetarian or gluten free options?
Since the food trucks rotate we can not guarantee these options every week. Our market managers do their best to make sure there is something for everyone.
Can I reserve a table?
Seating is first come, first served. It turns over fast between 6 and 7.
Is there a restroom?
Portable restrooms are brought in for the event.
For food trucks
How do I apply?
Use the vendor sign up form and check off the Thursdays you want, one date or the whole season. The market manager reviews requests for menu balance and confirms. If a night is already full, you go on the waitlist for it and stay in line for the next open date.
What does a space cost?
A flat weekly fee per space. Typically $200 - $250.
Do you provide power?
We do not provide power and vendors should bring their own generator.
What paperwork do you need?
We ask for a few licenses and certifications to make sure our vendors are compliant with state and local ordinances.
Can I sell crafts or merch?
Food and drink only, plus your own branded merch: shirts, hats, hot sauce, whatever carries your name. We are a food truck festival, not a crafts market, so standalone craft, retail and service booths are not a fit for this event.
